Connecting to your payroll provider directly
The ability to connect to your payroll provider is a premium data integration that is only available on a Causal Business plan.
Note: some payroll providers may create a third-party login/license when you connect via Merge.

- 3.Hit your system, or "More with Merge"
- 4.Follow the steps and sign-in with your particular provider
You’re able to pull the data items listed below from your HRIS by default. These are broken down by Employee, and we'll also pull in mappings to Team/Location/Department etc for you.

If you are on a Business plan we can also pull custom fields for you (e.g. Bonus %).
Some payroll integrations do not support all of Causal's features.
BambooHR does not support locations outside of the US.
Namely does not support historical employment data.
Personio does not pull in salary for future start date employees until they've started.
